want to know how to market your business online?

Here's how in just five simple steps.

#1 - build a website

All you need is to buy a web address and hosting and I'll walk you through exactly how to build a website inside the Free 5 Day Website Challenge.

I've worked out a special price for my audience with my preferred web hosting provider, Bluehost* when you use my affiliate link.

Here's how much it costs:

That’s a sweet deal – and to top it off, there’s a 30-day money back guarantee.

But most of all, the Bluehost* team is amazing! I visited them at their HQ in Austin, TX, we had a blast. They came to a conference where I was speaking and cheered me on! They’re not just another hosting company – they truly want to see us succeed as entrepreneurs.

Here's how to get started:

#2 - build an email list

On Days 1 + 2 of the Free 5 Day Website Challenge, we walk through all of the foundational website setup – and then on Day 3, we set up the most crucial part of marketing your business online: your email list.

I walk you through how to set up an email service provider, put an opt-in form on your set, and automatically deliver a freebie straight to your subscriber's inbox when they sign up.

I use, teach and recommend ConvertKit* for your email marketing. It's made for online business owners like us and it's designed to help us market ourselves

Here's how much it costs:

  • Free up to 500 subscribers when you use my affiliate link.
  • Unlimited landing pages, forms, incentive emails + broadcast emails.
  • Unlock 100 more subscribers per referral up to 1000 free subscribers!

Here's how to get started:

#3 - get website traffic

Once you build your website, it's time to start marketing yourself, getting in front of your ideal clients online, and getting them back to your website and onto your email list so that you can move on to #4.

Most people make the mistake of publishing their website and waiting for people to find them on Google and then just buy their program or service.

And waiting… and waiting…

Or they write blog posts and share them to social media where they have zero audience – or spend hundreds, even thousands on Facebook ads to drive traffic to their website with nothing to show for it.

And they get frustrated and give up.

Here's what to do instead:

#4 -build a relationship

Once you have someone's email address, it's time to build a relationship, build trust and position yourself as someone who can solve your ideal client's problem.

You do that by showing up in their inbox consistently with valuable content that helps your ideal client get what they want.

I show up for my ideal clients every single week via my Pep Talks for Side Hustlers podcast where I interview successful entrepreneurs and ask them how they make money, how they market themselves and how they get clients – and take them behind the scenes of my business while sharing all my best marketing strategies.

Subscribe to my podcast, Pep Talks for Side Hustlers and hear exactly how successful entrepreneurs making 5, 6 and 7 figures built their businesses and quit their day jobs.

You'll find out:

  • How they market themselves and get clients.
  • Mistakes they made along the way and what they'd do differently.
  • What their transition from side-hustle to self-employed was like.
  • Their best advice for you if you're struggling to grow your side hustle.
  • The beliefs about themselves that they had to change to get where they are today.

#5 -make an offer

If you've done your job right, making an offer to your email list subscribers to let them know how they can work with you on a deeper level is a natural next step.

You've built trust. You've positioned yourself as the right person for the job. Now it's time to give them all of the information they need to make the best decision for themselves.

That's marketing.
